I assume you mean fx 9800 GeForce graphics card. It would be nice if you can post a dxdiag report in this thread, it includes information about your computer (nothing personal) and will help with solving your problem. To attain your dxdiag report click on Start then go to Run. Type in dxdiag, when the window pops up click Save All Information... and save it to a place where you can easily find it. If you are not confortable with sharing some of the info enclosed in it you can easily edit it out. Copy the entire report (it is long) and paste it in here on its own thread. If you do not wish to attain a dxdiag report then you can just list your system specs (cpu speed, system ram,  graphics memory, operating system...). The first thing I suggest you do is to upgrade your graphics card driver. If the problem persists then I suggest you try running the game in safe mode to determind if anything is interfering with the game. The more details the better, if you got an error report than please post it here.

To start the computer in safe mode:

  • Turn the computer on or Restart the computer
  • Start tapping the F8 key. The Windows Advanced Boot Options Menu appears. If you begin tapping the F8 key too soon, some computers display a "keyboard error" message. To resolve this, restart the computer and try again.
  • Ensure that the Safe mode option is selected (the top option)
  • Press Enter. The computer then begins to start in Safe mode.

Your system meets all requirements. Have you tried running the game in safe mode yet?
