The worst has come to bay, Microsoft has shut down the makers of FSX. You can read about it here: http://paul-flightsimguy.spaces.live.com/default.aspx This is from Paul Lange's windows live space.
Microsoft Flight Simulater is the longest and oldest running franchise still arround, amost 30 years! From what we've seen on the web though it sounds like Microsoft has shutdown ACES Studios as part of their lay offs do to the bad economy. They have also laid off about 30% of their game testers. Also from what we've heard is that the Flight Simulator franchise may still continue even though they have shut down the studio that produces it. We are all shocked here and are deeply saddened but none of our sources are completely legit. We will try to contact Microsoft or one of the ACES Studios developers and bring you more info.
We just gave our site a complete make over! We have changed the site design and added a logo and a side bar so you can sign in easier. Tell us what you think on our chat page.
FSXI? or in other words Flight simulator 11! This is no joke, here is a direct quote from P-12C "Acceleration is now done (the English version and we have 7 more languages to get out the door) and my stress level has dropped to very reasonable levels! This has been a great project with some ups and downs, but mostly just ups. I'm very proud of what we have created and I really believe you're going to enjoy it. Now I can focus on designing FS11 which I've been working on part-time for awhile." We'll try to bring you as much info on FS11 as we can.
Well we finished the site and it is now online, you can visit it here. The website was designed by madmax369.
